Some interesting work from Long Island based artist, Jeffrey Seaberg. I like the organic shapes and the transparent layers he uses. He describes his works as ‘often referencing my perception of human society as a living system. This idea is portrayed through organic and anatomical masses’.

For some reason it’s rare that you see London in this light. Nightscapes of big cities are usually reserved for New York and Tokyo, for example. Perhaps the comparatively scarce skyscrapers makes the city less photogenic in that respect. So photographer Jason Hawkes’ work is long overdue — he has really brought the city to life, and given it that lick of golden light that a long-exposure is good for.
Inhae Renee Lee’s absolutely adorable and downright hysterical blog follows the adventures of two teeth out in the world. The wonderful stories combined with the carefully constructed photographs make for an entirely enchanting experience.
Monarch are an incredibly grim, lumbering doom metal band from Basque country in France. Frontwoman Emilie Bresson is one of those rare female singers in metal that’s at once fierce and raspy, yet identifiably female, creating a haunting, menacing sound that can stand up against the most ragingly macho bands out there.
