Italian designer Luca Trazzi creates beautiful things, like this computer mirror (above left) and coffee maker (above right). He told the Design Boom website that his favourite moment of the day is ‘all of it. From the moment I wake up I am already enjoying the day. But honestly I also like going to sleep. Maybe it’s the moment before falling asleep that I enjoy most’. What kind of music do you listen to at the moment? ‘I listen to a bit of everything at the moment – Indian music and some Chinese. Whatever attracts me at certain moments’. He does work for Swatch, Francis Francis!, Viceversa, Guzzini, Kreon, and Porsche, amongst many other high profile clients. [interview via Design Boom]

Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend
Now, this is one for the ages: back in 2010, Atlanta film-maker Walter Thompson created a jaw-dropping LEGO stop motion to propose to Nealey Dozier, his girlfriend of four years. The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.
