A Dutch studio for electro-instrumental music, Steim is ‘the only independent live electronic music centre in the world that is exclusively dedicated to the performing arts.’ Encouraging ‘the use of low-tech solutions and the creative “misuse” of recycled high-tech’, Steim invites an international community of performers, musicians and visual artists for residencies and provides technical and artistic support for pioneering new live electronic performances.
