The Presets are a Sydney-based electronic duo, consisting of Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes. In September 2005 they released their debut album, Beams, to positive critical response. That same year Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes also toured with The Dissociatives, which is co-fronted by Daniel Johns of Silverchair and Australian dance producer Paul Mac. Johns also played guitar on Presets single Cookie. Hamilton and Moyes are also members of Sydney instrumental group Prop.

One of my favourite venues in New York is Brooklyn’s Union Hall, right around the corner from Tamari, a super sushi joint. Upstairs they have two massive fireplaces burning and a bocce ball court. The amazing Michael Lau has done it, yet again. I truly respect him. He is one of the finest vinyl toy makers out there. Crazy Children. The Gardeners. Tom Kids. Are among my favourites of his. His collaboration with big industry names are truly awesome as well. This new NY Fa+ is another amazing one for him. Thanks Zolton for the info!
