UK designer John Wischhusen’s work is obsessed with the process of ‘mechanical movement’. As the Hidden Art website notes: ‘His designs are a mixture of domestic product and fine art automata. The work is designed as kinetic sculpture for domestic environments. He designs living, breathing creatures from inanimate manmade materials’. These two pieces reflect his commitment to cutting edge yet functional design. It uses safe and robust electro luminescent technology and can easily be hung on the wall or ceiling’. [see also Laurent Massaloux]
