Love these cute summer dresses, looking at them makes me want to skip through the rainforest up at Byron along with butterflies and sucking on a calipo. After having just smoked a fat spliff.
Mmmm, a fashion/art collaboration Id like to see, superhero outfits, batman and catwomen suits mixed with grecian designs and lots of white lace and pearls..

Tsubi and Jeremy Scott are two designers collaborating v soon, and after JS's Autumn 2006 collection - wearable fast food and icecream sundaes on skinny models.. .mwhahahah, you gotta know its gonna be pretty bent. when a surface aesthetic is nonsense its kind of refreshing, no? http://nymag.com/fashion/fashionshows/2006/fall/main/newyork/womenrunway/jeremyscott/#
maybe Nike andTraci Emin - The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe!

on another level, haven't we seen enough music collabs, street artist collabs, tech collabs and so forth, and they all get a bit serious... so i'd prefer to see industrial designers work with fashion designers, like Yves Behar and his fusepoint mentality of rethinking an object with some sort of wearability... and using a fashion designer with a similar bent on making clothes almost into objects.. so Yves Behar with some crazy cat like Hussein Chalayan. yeah, i'd try to wear that! ... and i'd defo wear sumakhi

Love those dresses. So fragile yet elegant.

A collaboration I would love to see is Schamburg/Alvisse furniture and generally awesome designs (check their website schamburgalvisse.com.au) together with Boards of Canada. Dreamy plus creatively analytic. I wonder what could spring from those minds when brought together.

i'd like to see an apc.fr dress re-imagined musically by balkan beat box. traditional music like apc's traditional clothing, but given a funky, swishy twist that just makes you want to dance. that sumakhi dress top left just makes me think of going out on a warm night and dancing until the wee hours.

I have been a big fan of Sumakhi, especially their knits which are generally pretty comfy and stylish.

The pastel coloured dresses featured here definitely take me down memory lane to my childhood and the dresses I used to wear then.

I like the simplistic nature of these dresses, they seem easy to slip on and off without fussy clasps and looking very lighweight - which is just the perfect mix to get through the hot Aussie summers.

My ultimate collaboration would be Marc Jacobs with Sonia Rykiel. They are my fave designers and I love their experimentation with bright colours and prints which I find is usually lacking in other designers who generally stick to the neutral tones or black and whites. More colour I say!

I want a bolshy (if a little wrong) collaboration - Prince, the Beastie Boys, M.I.A., Tina Turner, and George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic should create magical music together. And then Mark Ronson can do a remix. And then twenty-five years later, some boy-band can cover it - using only synthesizers, maracas and interpretative dance.

I'm starting to feel summer arrive- how about some swim/designer collections?
Some Bernhard Willhem print full pieces? How about Geoff McFetridge designed bikinis and perhaps a boardshort for the body surfer? What about some of Matthew Williamson's colourful prints and beading on a bikini? I wear glasses so how about some preppy inspired swimwear by Lacoste? The collaborations are endless-but i'll leave the summer dresses to sumakhi.

love the dress on the right! feminine yet still unique.

fashion/art collaboration...

I would take the beautiful eccentric designs of Florence Broadhurst and mix with the modern day label Tsubi known for their controversial catwalk shows! all over an all aussie collaboration that is bold and shocking, whilst still leading todays trends.

I think Scott Wade from dirty car art gallery should imprint one of these stunning dresses onto Mona Lisa's torso on the back of a Mini. Sprinkled with some extra dust would make Mona look like she had fake tan on and would contrast amazingly well with that white little number from Sumakhi...

Oh my god. I so want one of these dresses. The fact of the matter is I'd buy one anyway, but free shtuff always feels a billion times better (think of the shit movie, but when free, sometimes seems ok).
I reckon the best art/fashion collaboration would have to be <a href="http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Nike%20Savvas&w=all" rel="nofollow">Nike Savvas</a> (think balls installation at this years bienale) combined with some Josh Goot. I love the sporty element of both, but the colour v monotonal juxtaposition would be hot!
