Some very nice work by photographer Charlotte Player one capturing the uniqueness of Californian life; the other showing the reslience of the children of Palestine. I’ve been in LA for the past week and can attest that this is a city that does nothing by halves. Everything is BIG, even the trees. And not just any trees, but palm trees, transplanted kicking and screaming from the beachside areas and whacked downtown where they stand proudly as a symbol for the overwhelming lure of the sun. Filmmaker creates LEGO stop motion to propose to girlfriend
Now, this is one for the ages: back in 2010, Atlanta film-maker Walter Thompson created a jaw-dropping LEGO stop motion to propose to Nealey Dozier, his girlfriend of four years. The video took 22 hours of shooting and some 2,600 pictures to splice together, a small sacrifice to pay for years of happiness together. Right? Right! Oh, and she said yes. Bonus.
