Max Linegar and dawn light
My favourite artist, Australian Max Linegar, has an exhibition at the Dickerson Gallery in Sydney from August 16 to September 10. Linegar draws heavily on the lush pastures of the New South Wales and Victorian coastlines for inspiration. His drawings use charcoal and pastel on gesso-primed paper and beautifully capture the transitional and contemplative light of dawn and dusk. I’m constantly inspired by the mood of his drawings.

Around the corner is Sydney’s busiest shopping strip, the Pitt Street Mall. And across the road is the iconic Hyde Park. Surry Hills, Kings Cross and Darling Harbour are not far from the Park8.
