Art / Catalina Estrada

Born and raised in Colombia, and living in Barcelona for the past seven years, Catalina Estrada brings the patterns and power of Latin-American folklore and refines it with a subtle touch of European sophistication. She creates illusive worlds - full of colours - and was presented as a fresh and new design talent by Communication Arts and Computer Arts magazines. Her work has also been featured by Die Gestalten Verlag and Graphic Magazine. Catalina divides her time teaching and freelancing illustration and graphic design as well as working on her personal art projects.

[…] Some very cool work by Stephen Molloy for Vodka O, a new tipple which apparently ‘doesn’t give you a hangover’. Now that’s my kinda drink! Molloy ‘created LOMAH Studios from the ground up, winning the Vodka O design competition last year out of 300 design companies around the world’. He is also the founder of The Inspiration Room, a website where people can see modern trends in the creative industry. [see also Catalina Estrada; Evah Fan] […]
